Bakgården Bar & Spiseri opened its doors in 2009 and was Trondheims first Tapas Restaurant. The restaurant is located in the heart of the city, with short distance to  within easy reach including Trondheim's biggest concert venue. Primarily, we get our inspiration from the Spanish cuisine, but make use of local produce from local suppliers as far as possible. Bakgården always uses fresh ingredients of the highest quality and local suppliers wherever possible, and you can enjoy your meal inside or out.

Our vision is to provide our guests with an experience of the highest quality, where Norwegian ingredients with an exotic twist are the main ingredients. Our guests can put together the snacks of your choice, or you can choose one of our menus put together by our experienced chefs. We also have a wide selection of wine.

Bakgården tapas and pizza restaurant includes a sheltered backyard with large parasols and a pleasant atmosphere.
